gaytravel.com launches nationwide ‘Why I Like’ campaign

On April 1st, gaytravel.com will launch the ‘Why I Like’ campaign. For two weeks contestants can post their best local New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Long Beach and San Francisco tips. The creator of the most popular tip (the tip with the most “hearts”- the site’s measure of a tip’s popularity) will win a trip to that city.

Prizes will include a weekend stay at a luxury Loews Hotel, Hotel CURRENT (in Long Beach) or The Opal (in San Francisco) and a free dinner for two. Each hotel room will be stocked with a gaytravel.com deluxe gift basket.

Contestants can create listings for local tips, a bar or club, restaurants or things to do. To win, contestants need to have a member profile on gaytravel.com. www.gaytravel.com/people

Site visitors can vote for tips on gaytravel.com, Facebook.com/gaytravel and Twitter @gaytravel.

The winners of the contest will be named on April 22nd. Contestants will only be eligible to win one prize.
